How to Get Grappling Hooks
Once you have your Zipline Rope Gun, and you've got hold of some Rope, you'll also need some Grappling Hooks. These can be made at the 3D Printing Stations, and cost 100 ML to craft.

How to Zipline
Once you have all the items needed to create a zipline, actually creating one is pretty straightforward. Equip your Zipline Rope Gun, and make sure you press R to reload. If you don't have any Zipline Rope, you'll need to craft some on your mat.
You can also get your Zipline Rope back at any time, as long as you can reach one of the Grappling Hooks. Just press E to dismantle the Zipline Rope and get your ammo back.
Then aim your Zipline Rope Gun at the starting position of your zipline and when the white circle appears, fire it. Now take the gun and aim this at the place you'd like the zipline to end, and if you're able to make it, a white spot will appear so you can complete the line.
Then just approach it and press E to use it. You can also zipline in both directions, so play around with them and set them up to get in and out of your bases, up and down from resources, or just to traverse across the island faster.
